Track the Reds (Week 9)

Featured Replies

Looks like the Reds would very well be 5-10 games over .500.

As it stands now, Cincinnati is right around 5 games out of the Wild Card.

Things are still early...If they can figure out how to win on the road the playoffs are very much in the picture.

The Reds did the right thing in waiting IMO.

I agree

Hate to see a walk there.

Cueto is pitching lights out today, and hes not throwing many pitches, just what the team needed today, so far anyways.

From what everyone had said, I agree it was the right move early on, but after 2-3 weeks and it was obvious the Patterson experiment wasn't going to work, you bring him up.

Doesn't matter now, Reds are going to get back to .500 and since 85 wins might be enough to get you in the playoffs in the National League, why not this year.

The Braves are in trouble in any road game. Not sure why, but they can't figure out how to win on the road this year. They have to turn that around soon.

He has gotten this far a few times and then he starts to struggle we will see. His pitch count is very low which should help a lot. He is locating his fastball on the corners too.

This game is getting ugly.

The Braves do not have a good record at GABP anyway. This might be turning into the second straight season that the Braves are swept by the Reds at GABP unless they get something going.

Why do you say that?

He struggled in ST and had a little set back with his Quad injury. He went down there and mashed a little bit and got some confidence.

The Reds are playing good ball right now. But they're at home where they have been doing well all year. I agree with the post they have to figure out how to win on the road. Way to early to be talking playoffs. Reality check. They're a .5 game out of the basement.

Hudson wants nothing to do with Bruce and now the heart of the lineup is up.

What impresses me most about bruce is his patience at the plate. For only being 21 he has great plate discipline.
