If they choose to keep Grif after #600, I say you still have to play Hairston eveyday at the top and get Keppy in there as well. Unless E-5 gets his act together in a big way, I say make him a "Bat" for a while like they did last year.

Another thing to consider with Keppinger. Votto may level off against lefties, and Kepp can be a viable option at 1B as a backup plan, and it gives you the freedom to move Hairston to the OF if you want to give Griff and/or Dunn a day off against a tough lefty.
