Earl Clark Officially Back At UL

Featured Replies

This is huge for UL. If Caracter is not eligible they still lack depth inside, but they will have 2 very good starters IMO.

Good move. Clark really turned up his game this year, especially toward the end of the season. Does both himself and UL good by staying. I'm glad to see a kid finally making a good decision in the world of college hoops. Did he go to any team workouts? I'm sure he did, and if so do you think it will have the Keith Bogans effect, thus making him a much better/harder working player?

I feel that Caracter will make it to be eligible. He knows the rest of his life, lie in the next 11 months.

Louisville looks to be a serious national title contender now that Clark is back!

08/09 Starting Line-Up as I see it

PG- Andre McGee

SG- Jerry Smith

SF- Terrence Williams

PF- Earl Clark

C- Samardo Samuels

The Cards will also have a deep bench with Sosa, Knowles, Jennings, Bolding, Swopshire and Goode! I cant wait til next season!

Don't forget Delk....

This is by far the most talent (on paper) he has had at UofL.:ylsuper:

This could be the most talent he has had period. This rivals the 1996-1998 teams that he had at UK.

It looks more and more likely that you can add Caracter to that list.

Excellent choice for Earl. If he improves off last season, he's going to make a run at all american and a possible lottery pick.

I look for DC to be back and with a better attitude. Not sure where Rick is getting all the scholarships?

Getting Clark back is huge for the Cards. Louisville may be a favorite to cut down the nets next year if DC is able to return.

Great for U of L and a good decision by Clark, IMO. If he improves and has a big season, he'll be a much higher draft pick next year in a weaker class.

Thanks. A good decision, and good news for the Cards.

His draft position should really improve with another year at UL.

Much like when Pitino said David Padgett may never play again and is out for the year, I knew Clark was coming back when Pitino said there was "zero percent chance" Earl Clark will return to the team. Pitino is the king of doublespeak.

It looks more and more likely that you can add Caracter to that list.

How so? What has DC done in the past 2 days that would lead anyone to believe that he'll be eligible for next year?

Good move by Clark. He'll be a star next year and has the potential to work his way up the draft charts with an excellent year. It's strange to me that he withdrew this early though. If you test the waters, you might as well get the full effect and go to as many workouts as possible and see how you stack up and play against the top competition.

I think a good decision for him as an individual.

This is a good decision by Clark i wonder if he got this advice from Ricky. Because players know the rick will tell them if they are ready to go he has told many players they are ready and need to go. Also a question for UofL fans would you really want DC back if he can with all the Drama he brings. Dont rip me its just a Wuestion. Im curious.

I was thinking I might swing by.

That swing work out for you?:lol:
