I wish Coach Borechers the best of luck at Cooper. It will be a huge change for him since the enrollment there will be much greater than that of Ludlow. One thing I can say is that the players for Cooper better be ready to play the game his way or no way. Also his Defensive knowledge will help them out greatly.

Actually Mr. Borchers avoided career suicide when he backed out of the Scott job. I think hiring Borchers showed a lot of courage, which I believe could pay dividends for the young school

 

I have nothing against Randy at all. I said I think it was a bad hire for Cooper. It has nothing to do with what he did at Scott a few years back. He is going to a big District and wont do well there and if im wrong I will be the first to admit it. I wish him well and I hope he does do great there i just don't believe he will.

Ok, but why do you not think he will?

IMO with the enrollment at Cooper in a few years they could be a contender. At first it's going to be a little rough but after the kids digest the system and get older there's no reason why Cooper can't be a winning school.

I wonder how the Ludlow community feels about this? He didn't have much success there plus backed out on the Scott job 3 years ago. Seems to be an interesting hire to me.:confused:

 

As for the Ludlow community's feelings about this. Obviously I can't speak for the entire community, but as someone very close to the football program, I can say that Coach Borchers is wished great success at his new school. We will now pick ourselves up and begin a search for another quality football coach to lead our program.

So does anyone know what kind of schedule Cooper is looking at?

My son will be attending Cooper, I am excited to see what happend there first season and Im glad Borchers got the job.

They will play all the 6A schools in their district. Who else I do not know.
