Two quality teams... Memphis is my pick, although I hated Calipari when he was with UMass but i'm over that and hope he wins a championship.

 

I couldn't stand him either then. I still don't think a whole lot of him but I do respect him for sticking to his guns/rules on suspending the player for violations of team rules. I have no idea what the kid did but I respect a coach that does that.

 

Now that both UNC and UCLA are out I will really enjoy watching the final. :thumb:

Memphis has been the red headed step child this whole tournament and here they are in the Finals.

 

If they were playing anyone else, I would root for them. But Self is a great guy and a great coach, how nice would it be that he is the one to bring back a title to Kansas and not Roy.

I have used that term when he was at Kansas, also have used "Run it Up Roy" and "Cryin' Roy" over the last few years.

:thumb: Good post, I agree. Even though Memphis is playing unbelievable right now I am going to pick Kansas. I had them winning it all in one bracket and in my BGP bracket I had them in the final and losing to Texas.

If the refs let the games go physical like they did tonight, KU has no chance, Memphis State will win by 11.

I could care less because I can't stand either team but I think Memphis will win in a close game.

I have Memphis over Kansas in 1 of the 2 brackets I did so I'll be pulling for Memphis. I don't like either though.

I like Kansas based on the sole purpose that I picked them to win it all in my brackets. However, I think Memphis is just too athletic at every position. I think this will be a really good final game.

Memphis: 63

I vote for a good basketball game! The games this year have replaced NASCAR and Golf as my nap inducers.

I want Memphis to win because they have never won a national championship, but this game is a toss up imo.

 

I'm just glad North Carolina and UCLA are not in the final game. If that had occured I would not have watched.
