Kansas doesn't box out extremely well...which could hurt when Memphis' athletes come leaping through...but Kansas is just better all around...i believe that Brandon rush will win the matchup between he and CDR...I say Kansas in a classic

 

Rush v CDR will be the best match up but I'm not so sure Rush is better than him. CDR IMO has a much better shot and creates better than Rush because of his ability to get in the lane.

I want Memphis to win because they have never won a national championship, but this game is a toss up imo.

 

I'm just glad North Carolina and UCLA are not in the final game. If that had occured I would not have watched.

The people and fans of Memphis deserve a champ!

 

They miss the old Missouri Valley/Metro 7/Conference USA rivalries with Louisville, Cincinnati, Va Tech, Fla State...going way back.

 

Memphis takes a lot of heat for its conference affiliation. What are the choices?? Memphis was left at the altar. They sit geographically in Mississippi and UT's recruiting areas. Those schools saw to it that Memphis could not get into the SEC which is what Memphis coveted and still does. The SEC, when it expanded, chose South Carolina and Arkansas instead. Memphis is too far south for the Big Ten, too far east for the Big 12 and too far south for the Big East, and there is no such thing as an independent anymore. All they can do is hope the league continues to pull itself up.

 

To the game:

Kansas impressed me, and Memphis will have to play its best game yet to win. I think Memphis will have trouble scoring inside with Kansas interior size, and they will have to have a big game from Antonio Anderson offensively.
