IMO this is UofL's game to lose. If the Cards play to their potential I don't think UT can beat them and the Cards win by 12-15. If they play a decent game they win by 6. If they play poorly they lose by 3.

That said. Pitino is one of the best preperatory coaches I have ever seen, and the 'Ville will be prepared. I like the Cards by 10.

I think the 'Ville rolls...there is only one team left in the tourney better than Louisville...they will play each other on Saturday.

UL is playing good ball, but I'm going with UT.

Tennessee 81

Louisville 79

UL will dominate this game, better smarter players, better coach adds up to a butt whippin. UT's head cases will show up in full force.

They just said on the Knoxville radio station (WNOX) that Lofton "Tweeked" an ankle and is in a boot. High ankle sprain.

Pearl is certain he'll be ready to go.

This could be a game changer......

I feel like UL will win, but for some reason I do not see them running away with the game like some believe. UT is just one of those goofy teams that is tough to prepare for.

Lofton's in a boot? Great, now the Cards will have to weather a career high... :irked:

Report out of Knoxville says he has a couple of hurts, the ankle being the worst.....

This should be a great game. I pick the Cardinals to advance to the Final Four, so I'll stick with them...could go either way though. There shouldn't be any surprises at this point.

UL is playing great right now. UT is not.

I'll go with UL by 12

UL 81

UT 69

Tennesee is a lot like the Cards. If they are making the three ball they are going to be hard to handle. If both of them are hitting then it will be toss up.The Cards have looked good lately but they can't have an off game and expect to win.I think U of L will take the game but not a blow out.

Let me get this straight UL destroyed UK. UK beat UT with Patterson at home and almost beat them at UT without him. UL has an inside game if they're not hitting the three UT has no inside game.

No point guard who can handle the ball spells doom for the Vols!

Lofton is one dimensional at best open shot, basket, if he is hitting ..........good defense he is done............CARDS ROLL by 20+

Bring on the tarheels!

If Tenn. can't rely on Lofton to make 3 or 4 threes, I think they will be in some serious trouble. Guard oriented teams, like Marq., UK etc. have struggled agaisnt UofL's defense.
