Like others I believe that coach Pitino is the difference. I think Louisville big by 12 or more.

I think UL's superior talent (not just coach Pitino, but it's nice to have him too) is the difference. Tennessee peaked in January. Cards roll.

Hopefully our Cardinals will win big and move on to the Great Eight.

UL will win because they have all the essentials: Inside game with Padgett/Character, Outside game with Smith/Sosa/Mcgee, Athleticism with T Wil/Clark, Deep Bench, and Hard-nosed defense throughout

Seriously? 12 or more? I think either way it comes down to no more than 5 points.

If Tenn. can't rely on Lofton to make 3 or 4 threes, I think they will be in some serious trouble. Guard oriented teams, like Marq., UK etc. have struggled agaisnt UofL's defense.

 

UT beat Memphis with virtually no production from Lofton...I think they're capable of beating Louisville as well. The Vols are more than a one man show and Tyler Smith is their best player. I think Louisville will win, but containing Chris Lofton doesn't guarantee victory against Tennessee.

I can't stand either team, but I think this has the chance to be one of the best games of the tournament. Both are SUPER athletic and are HOT right now. I picked the Cards.

:thumb: I'm much more worried about the Smith's than I am Lofton.

According to Danny Weddle's sports blog, Chris' ankle injury was a big topic of discussion at the press conference. Chris says he's fine, of course he probably wouldn't tell you if he wasn't.
