To be honest, I think this move helped UGA more, and actually hurt UK...UGA got a day to rest, and the fan advantage UK would've had is gone. There is something to be said about getting mentally ready to play a game, and then not playing. It's hard to turn that switch back on. While I think UK is likely still in the tourney, they may now be an 11 or 12 seed. This really was a bad bad loss.

How do you not call that charge at the end?

I refuse to believe that any of the people questioning that call would feel that way if the roles were reversed. I've seen enough times a foul like that that went against UK where the fans questioned "How do you make that call there?" I don't blame UK for the attempt, but I don't blame the ref for not making that call.

UK is in.

I hope you are right. If you are wrong, I do not want to hear any whining from you. :D

I would be fuming mad about the loss if Perry Stevenson didnt block that free throw. Thay may be the funniest thing Ive ever seen on the court. Im still laughing about that.

Tough break. That was a bad loss under a lot of crazy circumstance. It will hurt UK with seeding but I still think they are in.
As do I.

We want an 11 or 12 seed. That would be the perfect scenario.

I'm going to post my warning now. The update thread was getting bad. I'm miffed at the game, I'm miffed at the weekend, I'm miffed that my team (UofL) played bad the other night. If I see Rule 2 stuff or Cardinal retaliation, I'm going to start suspending, do not pass 'Go' do not collect $200.

:thumb: It was a smart no call.

Free throw shooting hurt Cats today. They have been struggling with free throws lately.

Kentucky lost a clear crowd advantage due to the move to Georgia tech. Would have been nice to have 10K+ UK fans cheering their butts off for the Cats...instead we had a few hundred+. May not have made a big difference but oh well.

UK can't get in that situation, at this point of the season against a team as bad as Georgia.

I'm an adult. I don't whine. UK will get in. The committee will be pretty understanding of the circumstances leading up to this game.

The key to the no call for me was the UG players reaction. He stopped raised his hands and looked at the referee.

Probably a blessing in disguise as now they might be a 10-12 seed.

Those are the exact words I thought of when they lost. I would have loved to win, but to get a better seeding so that we do not have to play another 1 seed in the 2nd round is probably a blessing.

I may not be as upset about it, simply because if the roles were reversed it would help UK. However regardless, a foul is a foul.
