I dure hope it is not true, I have watched these boys for a long while now and watched them grow up through AAU and middle school championships and this woudl be a sad loss to the Royals. I really believe that if they all could stick together they could make a run the next 2 years.

 

I will say this from a coaching standpoint that if htey are fleeing I disagree with the motives and it is a shame that our society has but this kind of pressure on people to win at all cost. Where has the word LOYALTY gone.

 

From a parents point of view I would want what was best for my son and understand if they think it is a better sitiuation. But Euton is already committed to UK and Jackson is being recruited pretty heavy as well at Rose Hill.

 

Best of luck to all parties involved and if it is true I know my son will miss them greatly. But friendships never die they just grow stronger form a far.

I agree 100%. From what it sounds like we are going to have another Oak Hill Academy, but this is a public school. If this happens with an unmentioned team, they should be banned from playing in the state tournament. It is not fair to the kids that have busted their butts in hopes of winning a state championship. We don't need an all star team playing in our state tournament next year.

Life in reality is about hard knock's. You have to step up to the plate and give it your all regardless of the odd's. This day and time basketball is about like life, you will most always be facing unfavorable odd's. If you overcome the victory is that much sweeter, if you fail you become tougher and stronger for the next battle.

How can a kid move and go to another school and be eligible to play right away? Didn't the Mike Mitchell of Highlands football case cause the KHsaa to institute that any transfer has to sit out atleast a year if they transfer schools?

Not if they move into that Schools district. There were some other issues in the Mitchell situation.
