Kevin Galloway Vebals To UK

Featured Replies

I don't know how old Liggins is, but I think he's a senior in the conventional sense ... he was listed as a junior last year at a public high school in Chicago. It could be that he had aged out in Illinois, but I don't know the situation.

Good catch by BCG and staff.

One thing is clearly evident, there will be an upgrade in athleticism on the roster.

All work is left to do is shoot for a scoring wing (Hopson) and a big (Harrellson and Mojak).

If BCG likes him then so do I. Recruiting is one of many things that he can do very well.

Galloway actually played in 13 games at USC. Averaged 12 minutes per game. 2.8ppg, 2.0rpg, and 2.2rpg. He shot 74% (14 of 19) from the foul line. He shot 50% (11 of 22) from the field. He shot 50% from 3 point range, but he only shot 2.

He averaged 1.7 turnovers per game had a 1.3/1 assist to turnover ratio.

Considering he was a freshman and that he played on a pretty talented team, he wasn't the scorer for sure with Young, Stewart, Pruitt, and Gibson being double digit scorers.

The positive about this guy is that he has half of a season worth of D-1 play under his belt. Also, he has played in Lawrence, Kansas so he's faced a hostile crowd. He sounds like a good passer, ballhandler, and rebounder. He also hits his free throws and takes good shots (based on his stats). He fits the mold of what Coach G is trying to do with big, athletic guards. This is a 4-star player with experience in D-1 and in the JUCO's. So experience and talent.

Great pick up. We've came a long way from recruiting what was left.......

Now that you say that, I do remember him being listed as a junior last year.

Good pickup by Billy G. and the Wildcats.

Is it me or does this look like a bigger version of Chris Lofton playing D?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The guys BCG has coming in next year I can see a lineup with everyone between 6'5-6'9, long and lean. That will be a welcomed change for me. I have hated seeing UNC and Kansas and UCLA just look so much more athletic than us.

So when will we know if Liggins qualifies or not? If he doesn't, then will we be able to have that scholarship free?

Is it me or does this look like a bigger version of Chris Lofton playing D?

I thought the same thing when I first saw it.
