The "300" workout

Featured Replies

The example of floor wipers I saw showed a guy holding 135 bar over his head basically like doing bench, but never lowered the weight. Then moved his legs side to side with them together touching the 45 lb plates on each side. Is this correct? For 50 reps, if so that looks fierce.

Watch the video provided in the link. There's no way I could do 50 of what he does in the video.

I just stumbled into this thread, I'm bout to head to the gym and I'm going to go for the full 300, the only thing that scares me is the floor wipers, not sure how great my core strength is, I've never tried anything like this so I may be shooting for the stars thinking I can get the full 300 done, I'm also going to time myself, I'll let you guys know...

You've got more guts than me, there's no way I could pull the full 300, good luck!

Did the pull ups today at the end of my tri and bi workout, which was also after playing 5 games of racket ball.

Was able to pull em out but man it was rough, makes me think I need to start doing higher reps more often, I've been focusing on just high weights for about a year now, with no reps over ten really.

I was only able to get through 200, the deadlifts killed me

Its a beast brother. When I did 150 the clean and press was the thing that got me the most, but when I moved up to 200 the Dead Lift sucked all the wind out of my sail.

I'm thinking I'll try 250 reps next week, but I am honestly not looking forward to it.

No way I would be able to do the full 300 workout. Heck only the 150 would wear me out.

This week I started going to an MMA gym and training boxing, Jiu Jitsu, and Muay Thai. It freakin wears me out. I think there is a big difference between being in shape and being in fight shape.

Did the 200 on Friday. Saturday tried to play some ball! Could barely move and then today I could barely roll out of bed. I was fine until I got to the DeadLifts! My legs feel like someone took a bat to my hamstrings.... wow!

I just did the 200. Man it wears me out. I don't do it with the full weight for the clean and press though, and I have to replace pull ups with chin ups because I don't have a pull up bar. I have to do chin ups on my punching bag stand...can't get a wide enough grip for pull ups lol. Still very painful.

I did the floor wipers twp dofferent days for two sets of about 30 -40 last week. Those are pretty darn fierce.

I had forgotten about this thread and found it searching around.

Best time at our gym yesterday was 13:46. I finished it in 22:59. The floor wipers really slowed me down. There was some debate on what was a full rep, some said it was just touching one side some said it was when you touched both sides. So not 100% sure how everyone did it. I did both sides for one rep so basically you are touching each side 50 times. Got the first 10 unbroken then had to do sets of 5-8 the rest of the way. I struggle with push ups so either that or the box jumps were the second toughest movement for me, at least time wise.

The 300 routine looks okay. Seems like I would get through it pretty fast. I need something new to add to my workout to make things a little less repetitive' date=' I might try it some time.[/quote']
