March 12, 200818 yr I go to the Y here in Henderson and they have a pull up machine that is weight assisted. It is great for helping you work up to doing with no help. I might have to try to find one of them in my area.

Also shows some video's of the movements. a) Pullups - 25 reps b) Deadlifts with 135lbs - 50 reps c) Pushups - 50 reps d) 24-inch Box jumps - 50 reps e) Floor wipers - 50 reps f) Single-arm Clean-and-Press with 36lbs Kettlebell - 50 reps g) Pullups - 25 reps Now I changed mine for the first week, I am only doing 150 reps right now. How was the P90X workout? I was reading about it on line today. Reading more about the work-out on gymjones.com, this work-out is the final work-out program after training intensely in the weeks leading up to it. For someone just starting to get back into shape. Would the 150 rep version be a good way to go? Or should I start off with something easier then go into the 150, then progress to the full 300 workout?

Or should I start off with something easier then go into the 150, then progress to the full 300 workout? I'd say you would have to start at 150 reps or lower... If you aren't in shape there is no way you could do the 300 reps the correct way.
March 15, 200818 yr I gave this to a friend, and he said it is more of a "test" than a workout. They gave this workout to the 300 actors after they completed their training to see if they were ready.
March 15, 200818 yr I've been doing the "300 Workout" at the end of the week after I've hit all other major body parts for the past three weeks. I also started out with 150 reps, finished rather easily, and I wasn't at all tired. But the next day I was sore in places that aren't usually sore. The past 2 weeks I've done 200 reps and it's a big jump. I got finished under 30 minutes the 2nd time, but not the first time. *Instead of pushups I do dumbell bench, and squats instead of box jumps. It makes the workout much harder and more of a muscle gainer, in my opinion. Since I already have it broken down by 50s I'll post it for anyone wanting to give it a shot. I think it is a great total body workout, but I still prefer doing one body part once a week for better muscle gains. The 300 workout is a lean muscle-building workout that also tests your cardio, which is always good. This is the one I do. 300: a) Pullups - 25 reps b) Deadlifts with 135lbs - 50 reps c) Dumbell Bench "40 lbs" - 50 reps d) Squats with 135lbs - 50 reps e) Floor wipers or hanging leg raises - 50 reps f) Single-arm Clean-and-Press with 40 lb dumbells - 50 reps g) Pullups - 25 reps 250: a) Pullups - 20 reps b) Deadlifts with 135lbs - 45 reps c) Dumbell Bench "45 lbs" - 40 reps d) Squats with 135lbs - 45 reps e) Floor wipers or hanging leg raises - 40 reps f) Single-arm Clean-and-Press with 40 lb dumbells - 40 reps g) Pullups - 20 reps 200: This is where I am now and probably will be for another two weeks. a) Pullups - 15 reps b) Deadlifts with 135lbs - 35 reps c) Dumbell Bench "50 lbs" - 30 reps d) Squats with 135lbs - 35 reps e) Floor wipers or hanging leg raises - 35 reps f) Single-arm Clean-and-Press with 40 lb dumbells - 35 reps g) Pullups - 15 reps 150: a) Pullups - 13 reps b) Deadlifts with 135lbs - 25 reps c) Dumbell Bench "50 lbs" - 25 reps d) Squats with 135lbs - 25 reps e) Floor wipers or hanging leg raises - 25 reps f) Single-arm Clean-and-Press with 40 lb dumbells - 25 reps g) Pullups - 12 reps Alternate Lifts: Barbell Clean & Press Bent Rows Alternating Dumbell Bench

March 16, 200818 yr If you do it, you'll know it's a workout. I did it and it is a great workout. So do you do it daily? Or what would you suggest?
March 16, 200818 yr So do you do it daily? Or what would you suggest? I have not tried the workout but I'd say daily would be over doing it, 3-4 times a week sounds a bit better.
