Baseballguy Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 I know it's still not decided yet, but unless there's some kind of serious turn around, I see these two as our options for President. I can remember saying a few years ago, that if John McCain ran, I would probably vote for him. Honestly, I didn't know very much at all about Obama until the debates began. I now feel he's going to be our next President, no matter how I vote. I will wait until they have their debates, because I am very much in limbo at this time. Right now my feelings are: Obama may be to good to be true. And with McCain, it may be a little better, but alot of the same.

I wouldn't be devastated to have him as our president. I definately do NOT like Hillary. Only thing that worries me is Universal Health Care which he strongly supports. I have yet to see our government run anything efficiently, so I do not want to depend on it for my health care.:scared:

The democrats debate this subject like it is something that is imminent and they have the plan. Universal Health Care is a pipedream, that is nowhere near reality. Lot of discussion has been wasted on this subject.

I want the war in Iraq over and a change in the direction of the country. McCain offers the same things we've had for 7 years and obviously that's not working.

He is going to introduce socialist-minded policies that are slowing down (if not destroying) a lot of European economies right now.

Obama will win the democratic nomination, but after a summer of debate and campaigning, the American public will feel safer with McCain. Mark it down. He would have had an easier time if Hillary were the nominee, but that's not going to happen.
