Obama Or McCain?

Featured Replies

McCain will be the next president. Obama will win the democratic nomination, but after a summer of debate and campaigning, the American public will feel safer with McCain. Mark it down. He would have had an easier time if Hillary were the nominee, but that's not going to happen.

I believe that Obama will win. So many people are sick of Bush that they won't vote R.

I'm voting for McCain, I don't think Obama will sustain in the long haul when he starts getting in to a political debate with McCain. McCain will be able to separate his policies enough from Bush to win.

Agree on the Health care issue. May I ask why you are voting for McCain? As I stated, I do like McCain, but I'm just not sure if he can bring any change. Obama seems very very smart, and a smart President would be the start of change.IMO

I know that the last eight years have been very controversial, to say the least.

However, those planes hit the twin towers less than a year after GWB took office. I can only blame that on the previous eight years of Democratic leadership looking the other way. GWB was dealt a very difficult hand and spent his presidency cleaning up Bill's mess.

Everyone is talking about change, but real change is extremely difficult. I think McCain has a more realistic view of governing our country.

I also liked how he handled the Bill Cunningham incident. Showed real class!

I agree that Universal Health Care is not likely to happen.

I don't like either one. I do think Obama is going to be president. If not this year, then in 4 years (if McCain wins) or 8 years (if Hillary wins). I've only really wasted a vote once in my lifetime but this year may result in a second.

Obama lacks experience and accomplishments and that coupled with feeling better about security under McCain are the most important issues for me.

From what I've seen so far, I'm thinking Obama will hold up well against McCain when the debates start. Of course that is yet to be seen.
