Aren't we suppose to be building a better football program here, and getting better athletes? If that is the case, then even with a short rest, we should be able to take care of Norfolk State, especially at home.

 

As I said before we have a chance here to showcase our team on National TV, and get the Nation to actually start looking at UK vs. UL as a big rivalry, and take interest in it like the other big rivalries. I mean if we were playing a little better team than Norfolk State, then I could see his reasoning. However we are playing a team that we should beat no matter what.

I will rag any UK fan until the end of time that claims they're legitimately concerned that UK can't handle Norfolk State.

Louisville had a week between Kentucky and Syracuse. Louisville could have had a month and would have lost that game, IMO. As someone I know might say, 'next...'

I will not take that off the table if you're doing the woe is us for UK's offense and shaking in your boots at the prospect of mighty Norfolk State, D-IAA juggernaut that they are.

 

At least Syracuse is a D-IA team with a tradition like a national title and legitimate NFL stars such as Art Monk, Donovan McNabb, Marvin Harrison and Dwight Freeney. I can't believe you even compared it...
