Looks good...but we all know how it gets come tourny time. There will probably be at least one, or maybe two Teams in the final 4, that isn't even on this list.

Holmes and Catholic

Only one team that showed me anything, and that was Highlands. Cov Cath and Boone I didn't think they showed me much.

 

Cov. Cath. had Holmes down 11 in the 4th quarter on Holmes' home court with Cov. Cath.'s best guard out with a broken hand (who is now back). The game went into overtime. If I were betting a hot fudge sundae and had to pick a team in a Cov. Cath-Holmes matchup, I would pick Holmes. That said, I do not think it is accurate to say Cov. Cath. did not show much in their game against Holmes.

Only one team that showed me anything, and that was Highlands. Cov Cath and Boone I didn't think they showed me much.

 

Another thing to keep in mind is that CovCath and Holmes never SHOW each other anything in the regular season (or districts for that matter). That's why there playoff matchups are so different then the regular season- last year Holmes saved a lot for the playoffs against CovCath and same with CCH

Top 3 are way above the rest of the area teams. Highlands injuries make them a high risk team unless everyone is heathly then watch out. St.Henry is just a good coached team and the Class A champs.

 

Boone is certainly not way above anyone in the top 10. They've lost to Highlands, without Simpson. Also lost to St. Henry. Before I'd put them "way above" anyone, I'd make sure they were at least the top seed in their own district.

Again, with Ryle? They have a losing record and are 3-5 in their last eight.

 

I'll say this, if Ryle is top five in the Ninth this year, then either the ninth is very, very down, or those making the rankings are searching for their first clue.

Been reading and writing for two pages, and I can't believe Dixie doesn't get at least a little more love. I'm not sure how they get left off of so many top five threads, maybe you guys can help me understand why'd you choose St. Henry, or Ryle ahead of the red colonels.

Dixie will get a chance tonight to prove they are better when they meet Ryle.

Have to agree with you. Dixie beat St Henry by 15. Looking at their schedule though, I noticed they don't play Boone...is there a reason for that?

I guess I got clarification aplenty to both the above assumptions tonight. Dixie 46 Ryle 31.
