There is not one team that can match up with Holmes, PERIOD!!! All I have heard is without this player, without that player, the coach didn't coach right, tired legs and stupid mistakes. Holmes could lose 2 out of they're last 4 and still will be the favorite. PERIOD!!! Give credit where credit is definitely due!!! They have one of the best defenses in the state, if not the BEST!!! They score enough to win the game. :sssh: please with the excuses on why your team lost.

No one has said that Holmes isn't the best, or that CovCath and Highlands would definently beat them. Just that, without each of their best players, they took them to OT. This is an indication that Holmes is not as far ahead of everyone as some people, you included, like to say.

Who couldn't lose a couple of jv players and still be successful?

Well said. It has become pretty clear Holmes is the best team in the region and the favorite. Both CCH and Highlands proved though, that while they may win region and go to Rupp, it won't come easy. They will have to continue to play extremely well and keep doing what they've done all year.

Only one team that showed me anything, and that was Highlands. Cov Cath and Boone I didn't think they showed me much.

I think Turbo was saying that Holmes could lose 2 out of their last 4 GAMES, not players, and still be favorite to win the region.

I have a question about Highlands, what if Simpson comes back? Does that take away some scoring from McGraw. To me McGraw stepped up a notch and killed Holmes.

To me Simpson returning hurts Highlands in some aspects. Don't get me wrong having him on the floor is another scoring option, but Mcgraw is much better than Simpson and plays smarter. Simpson hurts Highlands at times with his shot selection. (See CCH- Highlands region semis last year.)

Simpson will help the Highlands offense and will allow Mcgraw to get more breathers but with or without SImpson, they will need Mcgraw more than Simpson if they want to be successful come tourney time.

You were talking about losing players and said Holmes could lose two out of their last four and still be favorites. It looked like you were talking about players, not games. Eta has made sense of all of this...

Thank You

I somewhat agree. However looking at last year is a bad idea since the ONLY way HHS could score was if Simpson scored.

I think Simpson could have a huge game if Henderson guards McGraw...and vice-versa. Adding another scoring threat will mean a lot of points from 2 of these 3: McGraw, Simpson and Kowolonek...IMO.

Either Johnson boys could guard him.
