Chad Johnson

With Parcells in charge now, I would say they are going to be better off in 3 years than the Bengals will be.

That's not really saying much now is it?

And since Parcells balked at getting TO, I don't think he would want any part of Chad's circus.

I honestly think that the guy just wants to win. I think if he is winning he is going to be happy. Lets be honest, hes not going to win much in Cincy.

No no no. He wants to win and be THE reason they win. He doesn't want to win and not catch 7 balls, w/ 100 yards, a score, and a dumb celebration. Some people have seen it for years. Some people are just now catching on. I'm still waiting for futurecoach to say he's a great player and all of his teammates love him.

No doubt about it. I'll be completely and utterly shocked if Parcells wants him. Unless somehow Meshawn Johnson gets involved. He loves Parcells and won't talk bad about him and he has a well documented relationship w/ 85. But Parcells has a history w/ TO that would make me believe Chad is untouchable.

Wow I've known you all these years and never knew you were pschic.

Chad Johnson is unhappy about the silence of his teammates

“All the voices talked for 16 weeks,” Johnson said of Cincinnati's disappointing regular season. “I don't hear them now. Where you at? Now's the time to let it out. The only voice I hear is mine.”

While that's not unusual with the loquacious Johnson, he wasn't smiling or joking around after the AFC practice. He was defending his self-promoting manner, although he admitted some of it didn't fit the Bengals' approach.

“Consistently, I've done it,” he said of his performances. “I haven't done it perfect, but consistently at a high level. I get out of line at times, but what great one doesn't? What great one doesn't get emotional? Find me a great one who hasn't done it like that and I'll be quiet.”

Does somebody want to send him a list so that he'll shut up?? He keeps digging deeper and deeper.

Johnny Unitas, Walter Payton, Joe Montana, Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders.

Or maybe they're not great ones?

Maybe he's only talking about WR's...You know, the not so great ones like Jerry Rice, and Marvin Harrison, Tim Brown.etc...

When his teammates had talked about him in the media, they did say how much they loved him. However with as emotional of a person Chad is, they probably just don't love him enough in his opinion...

I do admit he is making a really big deal about this. However I do understand where he is coming from. Fans all over here during the season, and I think maybe you were one of them. Wanted to act like he was the reason why the bengals were losing, and would hardly talk about ANYTHING else. So lets see a guy who has a career year, and has set records for the Bengals, gets all the blame for a losing season? Yeah I would be upset about it as well, I don't know who wouldn't be. I mean all of your alls talk during the season acting pretty much like he was the reason why they were losing was CRAZY! So I do see how an emotional person like Chad would be hurt and angry about that..As I have said before the person who should have been receiving more of the blame for losing than anyone, should have been Marvin Lewis.

I just hope after some time he starts to cool down and starts to rethink his decision and want to come back next year.

Calling me out huh? Well lets see here, the part I bolded of yours is just an OPINION, definitely not a FACT! So I don't know how you can act like you are right about that...Secondly when his teammates had talked about him in the media, they did say how much they loved him. However with as emotional of a person Chad is, they probably just don't love him enough in his opinion...

I never recall hearing Chad put any of the negativity on the fans. His complaint has consistently been calling out his teammates and the team for not having his back.

It's too late for him this time, the damage is done. I personally know two players who told me recently that they cant stand his garbage and hope he gets what he wants "out of town"! Said the locker room would be better without him.

His garbage display on nation TV on MNF showed the nation he is all about ME! And nothing about TEAM! I agree with those who say he only wants to win when HE is the reason hey win, if he isn't a big part of a win he still isn't happy.

Speaking of the MNF "drama", it sort of reminded me of another time the Bengals were on MNF, under Wyche I believe, I think they were playing in Buffalo. A player arguing heavily with a coach, all caught on national TV it really showed the problems the team have at the time, and now Chad is a problem.

He has lost any respect I had for him, and he has lost respect of many others, including some of his teammates.

See ya Corey, uhh I mean Chad!

The Bengals defense owes Chad a nice dinner after this off season.

If Chad wants out get rid of him. Its unlawful to detain someone against there will.

I do! It was one of the first things he talked about, when he first started having the talk about getting out of Cincy this offseason. He said he was unhappy with the fans, media, etc with how everyone was trying to put all the blame on him for why the bengals were losing this season. Which he has a great point, because all season long, you heard people on radios, and on here on bgp saying how Chad Johnson was the reason for why the Bengals were losing. With everyone trying to put the blame on him for why the bengals were losing, is what first got all of this started. That is the reason why Chad Johnson also stopped talking to the media during the season. We all know Chad Johnson is an emotional person, and when media, fans were all trying to put the blame on him for the reason why we were losing, then it hurt his feeling and it has just kind of kept going down from there. I know I heard him say this on tv, and I also think I remember seeing it in a paper somewhere. So I will try to look back through some things to also try to find a link for you showing that he said that.

I heard a rumor that Chad was likely going to play in the NFL Europa next year... any word on this? j/k

Seriously though, Chad sounds like he's headed for a stay on a psychiatric unit, a la B. Spears.
