Yeah, that is the answer: Let's bench one of the top-5 players at WR in the game!

When he is acting like this I think that is the answer.

So Drew is working on a contract for CJ with the Skins? Does he think that's going to change the Bengals' mind?

Everything I've heard or read about the guy, I'm sure he thinks he can. And Snyder is known to overpay, so if I were the Bengals, then I'd probably listen.

The whole Chad Johnson thing is getting old. Football will always be a team game and Chad's look at me act has caught up with him. He is a great WR. The Bengals can't afford financially to get rid of him. The Bengals have way to many other problems to get rid of him from a talent standpoint. If I could figure out a way to swap the Dolphins to get a stud d player then get somebody like Deucet or Manningham I would jump all over it. I'm tired of all the side show in Cincy! Carson is going to make a lot of WR's look good and I'm not so sure a young WR that he could mold the way he wants him would be a bad thing. I honestly just don't see the Bengals winning it all with the chemistry they have. I hate to see a talent like Chad gone. I appreciate his work ethic and passion for the game but he has made his bed IMO.

One good thing with the skins is that they might absorb a lot of his cost.

I like Chad Johnson and I have nothing against him however, enough is enough and if he wants out let him go. Receiver's are available and he

can be replaced. JD

Chad thinks its bad in Cincy. Wait till he goes to the SKins with a QB that wont get him the ball. He will miss Palmer.

They were talking about Tony Gonzalaz maybe being on the market and what a good fit he would be in Seattle. Somebody said swap him straight up for Chad. I laughed because the people are friends with Chad and said welcome to the real world. You got out of Cincy and we are sorry Brody doesn't have the arm Carson does to get you the ball. I thought that was funny.

Get him out of Cincy, get something for him and go different ways. Now, thats a plan!

This came from the Washington Post after the article mentioned the Skins are interested:

Johnson is a game-breaker who is strong and, at 6 feet 1, has the kind of size the Redskins' wide receivers lack. But his quick tongue and clashes with coaches have caused turmoil with Cincinnati. If he is traded, two general managers estimated it would take a low first-round and a third-round pick, or perhaps two second-round picks, to land him.

I heard a rumor that the Jets wanted him. The romor was that Chad and the 9th pick in the draft were sent to the Jets, in return for Jonathon Vilma and the 3rd overall pick. I would LOVE that to happen.

Where did you hear that rumor at?

From a friend of mine that keeps up with that on the internet and through people he knows.

Do not make anything out of it, but it was a rumor I heard that I liked. I have no clue if it is true or not.

What will the Bengals have to recieve in order to offset the $8M cap hit?

I think that is apples and oranges.
