Well coached game by Coach Bennett and the Bearcat staff. Their subs and strategy down the stretch and their ability to get the team to believe they could come back when they were down by 12 was nice to see. If they keep playing and coaching that well, they may win the district and possibly make some noise in the region.

You're close Jeanie, Walton won by three. Still, a pretty good prediction.

Sorry! My fault! :thumb: Looked at it wrong! Madman, you miss the game tonight? Looked like in your other post you missed the game! You missed a great one!

Ponzer came out on fire, and never looked back. Glad for the WV guy's to pull out a huge win! Congrats boy's, keep up the great work!

Are you kidding, miss the game! No way, I was there. Ponzer played the game of his life. He shot the ball well from the field (5 3's), 7 for 7 from the line and handled/passed the ball well. He was the floor general and kept the others involved. It was definitely a team effort. Hopperton did a good job on Meagley. They rebounded the ball well and responded well to SK's pressure defense. It was a great game and fun to watch. Can't wait til the districts.:thumb:

Free throw shooting wins games. Walton was 21-24 from the free throw line and only missed one down the stretch. Great job Bearcats.

Interesting article in the paper this morning. Great victory for Walton but they may just have to play again.

I think this is a great story of a kid who persevered and didnt give up when cut. I love it. Nice job Payton !!!!

Great game Payton , maybe now they will at best mention your name when they talk about the top players in the 8th region!

I know one former 1981 Pioneer was THRILLED watching Payton's performance last night.

I'm sure his father is happy, luckily for SK it will take at least one more loss to WV to end their season.

Not really, they won't play again unless it is in the district finals in which case they both still advance to the region, but yes I'm sure his father was happy.

If they do meet in the regional finals SK will bounce back and win by 10 or more! I think SK will make it, but not the Bearcats!!!!!

Neither one of these teams will be in the "regional finals". I think you meant the "district finals". That is more realistic. We'll talk about that game at a later date if both reach the district finals.
