Just what is "presidential" looking? Slicked back hair and smooth talk? How about a genuine, honest, down to earth person --- that tells you the truth. Now, wouldn't that be a refreshing change?

For me, it has nothing to do with looks. He lacks a strong personality that instills confidence. I like him; I justdon't think he has "president" written all over him. And in politics, image is everything.

Right now I'm leaning towards McClain,Romney I like too,but the race is wide open,it's anyone game right now.

I would vote for Romney. I am beginning to think that I will be unable to bring myself to vote for either McCain or Huckabee. Huck had me fooled for awhile, but he has turned out to be just another McCain hatchet man. Rudy has run a pretty clean campaign but it looks like his Florida strategy will force him out of the race. I hope that he endorses and campaigns for Romney.

I like Edwards. There is just something about him that draws my attention. I think had he stayed in the Senate one more term he would have had enough media coverage to help him.

I totally agree with you.

Remember how Republicans attacked Kerry for flip-flopping. Edwards would be 10X worse as he has now changed his mind on many, many things. Add that to the linkage to the losing ticket in 04 and I doubt you'll see Edwards at all.

 

As I said I didn't think he'd be there in the end. However, if he were I'd vote for him. I'll vote for whoever ends up on the democratic ticket.

If he is still there, which it appears he probably wont be...I really think Rudy would be my vote at this point. McCain and Huckabee are not the conservatives they claim to be. Rudy certainly has his issues in my mind as well. My real vote would have been for Thompson if he had shown a little initiative once his campaign got going...but we all know what happened there. This was all a long rant to get to...it will most likely be a Romney vote in November!
