January 27, 200818 yr Any NFL scout that makes their decision based on the Senior Bowl alone to draft will not be working long.
January 27, 200818 yr While watching the Senior Bowl, I really feel for Woodson. He is in free fall mode at this point, possibly dropping out of the draft, for sure in the later stages. I think the expectations for the kid were way too high, and I think his game and the pro game will struggle to mesh. Honestly, I think the best thing that can happen is for him to go sit behind a good fundamental QB and learn. If he does that, and is able to correct that plodding drop, I think he can be successful 5 or so years down the road. Don't fell sorry for Woodson he is going to play in the NFL Manny years and make a ton of $. He has the size and the arm but also has intagables and can read a defense. He will be just fine.

January 27, 200818 yr Neither will Brohm. Don't hate on Brohm because Deuce said something that many believe. Brian Brohm certainly has all of the tools to be a big time QB right now. Andre has the potential, but he has to really work on somethings.

January 28, 200818 yr If we're talking about plain physical tools, I think Woodson has just as many if not more than Brohm. I can buy this, from a sheer physical standpoint. The problem is all of the intangibles go Brohm's way. I don't care if you can throw the ball a country mile, if you can't do the little things (get back in a drop, get the ball out on time, read the coverage) you aren't going to make it.
January 28, 200818 yr I am...But the only QB from this state going in the 1st round wears red. You sure are taking a lot of pride in that
January 28, 200818 yr Certainly has the potential to be. No doubt...But he's not going to be the QB that several on this board expect him to be right out of the gates.

January 28, 200818 yr If we're talking about plain physical tools, I think Woodson has just as many if not more than Brohm. He does seem to be just AS talented, especially physcially, that's what my post said. That said, he is behind with the mental aspects of the game, and his delivery of the ball, it's quickness etc...that can be fixed.
January 28, 200818 yr While you "say" you are pulling for Woodson, it is clear you are taking pleasure in his struggles. I said that? Must have been intoxicated.
