Even though the poll ask who will win, I think Ms. Liberty meant she hopes Bath County will win.

This game will come down to who can control the other teams point guard and who can stay out of foul trouble. I'll take Bath Co. to win at home, and what does it matter if its 1 or 75 as long as your on the right side of the score.

Oh, son, let me tell you what, back in Cleveland I was a playground legend. I had serious hops. I never got picked though when they'd choose teams you see, because back then I had a crewcut and was actually only about as tall as Buddy Biggs. So I decided to let the mop grow out, that didn't work because it was too curly, I looked like a Chia Pet. So I thought what the heck, I'll break out the pick and tease this baby up as high as I could. Guess what, went from 5'8" to 6'4" in a flash. First one picked on the playground in Parma, Ohio. But sadly scoot, I have expired my eligibility. But you bet your sweet bippy that I'll be in the stands pulling for that Jackson boy and the rest of the gang.

 

Even if I don't play, which would take a geritol cocktail, the Royals prevail. And remember, small schools can be big schools these days gentlemen!

Bath is out of school, get to sleep in and have a shootaround I'm guessing. Bath by 10. Are they already calling off school for big basketball games or is it that cold in Sharpsburg?

Well, I sure appreciate that son. I'm just as tickled as a fly on a gutpile this morning that gameday has finally arrived. I sure hope that every one of those boys is healthy and ready to go tonight. I have heard the rumor that there are several on the team who have come down with this awful illness that has been going around here. Also hear that illness is the reason school is out today for Rose Hill. Sure hope all are healthy for both teams and ready to go. And I sure hope that Rose Hill mascot is healthy and ready to go. I need another game or two to figure just what that thing really is. Ahhh, modern medicines have made illness last shorter times that's for sure. Back when I grew up, momma gave us castor oil. Some say that's the reason my hair still stands up the way it does. Well,,,good luck boys, have safe travel and play your hearts out. I'd say both teams have a puncher's chance.

I may try to make this game myself tonight. It should be a dandy of a ballgame. I think it's quite interesting that the 16th region's All A tournament had pretty much all of the top teams in the whole region in it considering Elliott County, Rose Hill, Fairview, and Bath County all played in it. Have there ever been two single A teams play in the championship of the 16th region tournament before?
