KHSAA Scoring Leader

I think you pulled that one out of your hat. The Mason starters were in the game with 1:26 left in the game. I know it is hard for people from the bigger areas to face the fact that a player from lowly Eastern Kentucky can be the leading scorer in the State and score 27 points on the #1 team and best player in the state but it is true and you might as well face it. Give the kid a little credit and enjoy the sport. -

Just wandering did you see Ferguson crack those 27 points against the #1 team in the state "Mason County" and supposed to be the #1 defender and player Miller? Looks like he did crack in that game, but evidently it was the bottom of the net doing the cracking. I still say you had never seen him play up untill that time. -

I believe you are reading something in the players that is not there and especially the Ferguson kid. I know him personally and he is just not that type of person. If you have watched him play very much you will see a very unselfish player. Have seen him many times go up for a shot and see a teammate open under the basket and pass the ball to the open teammate instead of taking the shot I attribute this to the fact that he can see the floor exceptionally well and to his unselfish personality. As for him walking slowly I don't recall seeing any players "run" off the court in a substitution. If you had observed him in a neutral way you would observe him walking slowly all the time wheather in or out of a game. -

You stated in another thread that there was no way that Ferguson would score 28 point against Mason County, altho I am sure that you meant he would score a lot less. Your prediction was correct Ferguson only scored 27 points against Miller, WOW Miller held Ferguson to 1 point below his average that really is dominating a player. You evidently were not able to comprehend that "Sidelinecoach" was referring to the post that said that Ferguson had 10 of his points after Miller left the game, which was not true he only scored 2 free throws after Miller left the game. Mason County did dominate Elliott County, but Miller definately did not dominate Ferguson. Come on!! -

Was the Ferguson kid insturmental in a loss of your favorite team or did he just do you some kind of harm? I noticed that on other threads you for no apparent reason begin to put down Ferguson as tho he is a subpar player. You also didn't answer wheather you had ever seen him play. -

The majority believed that Lofton was not the D1 player that he turned out to be, so the majority can be wrong. -

Thanks for the stats BBall Jones. These stats reveal that Ferguson has been a solid player not only as a Junior but also as a Freshman and Sophomore, he has steadily improved each year. I am looking foward to seeing the probable improvement through his senior year. "WOW" -

I have watched this kid play all of his games this year and most of his games in years past. Just for the record name the big games you have seen him crack in. Every player including Lofton has off games and yes he had an off game against Rose Hill if you are calling that a big game. Unless you have specifics you should not try to slam a kid for whatever reason. I could say I seen you play for UK but without something to back me up besides words it wouldn't be worth the paper it is wrote on. From your post I doubt that you have ever seen him play. -

If they "Elliott" played all of the top 25 they would have to play themselves, seeing that they are ranked # 20. -

Seen him play Friday against Raceland he shot a 3 pointer at least 11 to 12 feet behind the arch and made it. I was sitting within ear shot of his dad when he said with disbelief !!Jonathan!!!, but when it stripped the bottom of the net his dad began to smile and clap his hands. -

It still remains that Jonathan Ferguson and the Elliott team are the leading scorers in the state according to khsaa. Any other determination would be purely speculation.:jump: -

Then in the years past when the bigger schools had players and teams that were the leading scorers in the state they did it because they were playing weak teams!! And yes from reading your post you were trying to discredit the player and team. The thread was about congradulating the player and team on their outstanding accomplishments and you try to trash them by saying most players and teams that lead the scoring category are teams that don't play good competition. Do you even know who the team has played this season off hand without looking into the schedule?:fire: -

fpr I also was at the Ashland-Elliott game sure enjoyed the game altho the first half was not as exciting as the second half, when thing begin to heat up a little. That said I saw Ashland fans dancing too, but you didn't mention them. Why would you single out one Elliott fan when there were others doing the same thing. If I was as embarrassed as you seem to be I would leave the game and refrain form attending any more Elliott games. It is embarrassing for me to hear you whinning about a fan who is expressing his passion for his child, team, and the game of basket ball. Am I wrong in asserting that some schools have cheering sections for this very purpose, and do the same thing, so why not enjoy the game and give your attention to it, and let the fans have their fun? You did state that you had known this person for several years, do you have some personal issues with this particular fan, if so you should let it go, and enjoy the game.

Well Mr. King for once you put together some riddles that made some sense to me. Seems that certain posters for Elliott are always unhappy because some player is not getting the playing time that he or she thinks they should, but I am sure that the Coach is playing the players that will benifit the team the most in any particular game. -
Rose Hill vs Bath Co. predictions...
hootscoot replied to Bluegrass Will's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Rose Hill by 75 if they let Don King play, otherwise they lose. -
I believe you are for real Don King, because you are talking in riddles to evade the truth just like Don King does on TV, and the truth is if Rose Hill had dominated there would have been more than a 1 point spread with 56 sec. remaining in the game. The stats show what the truth was. I doubt that you were at the game also. Rose Hill shot over 50% and Elliott 28%, and what goes through the hoop is what counts when deciding the game. That may be domination in your dictionary but not in mine.
-
Sorry Mr King but I did state the fact that Elliott lost "read first four words of original post", so what does that say for your promotion of the truth? And I propose that you read the post carefully next time so that you may post correctly.
