I think Chuck Smith would be endorsing David Buchanan. And maybe he did,:sssh: but the Boyle Admin has chosen to look elsewhere.

I'm glad to see the Patriot backers get up and put there best foot forward to keep him.

 

That said, I would be very happy to have Larry French as the coach of My Boyle Rebels. I had thought of someone else at the top of my list but I am not disappointed at all if French comes to Boyle. (Afterall, my #1 choice ties back into him very nicely. )

I believe French has been offered the job and he is meeting with Boyle officials Tuesday to either accept or decline. He is the only the 3rd person that I KNOW they have talked to.

After what happend last week, I think everybody is taking this news a little slower. It's gonna be the main topic at the water cooler this weekend.....that's for sure.

 

I think this is bigger news in Stanford than it is at Boyle. Don't get me wrong.... I will be happy if French comes, but IMO it's like "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me".

From my undestanding, one faction wants Larry French, one faction wants David Buchannon and another wants Coach Perry from Washington County.

 

Whoever goes there needs to know nothing short of 5 straight championships will satisfy the beast that Chuck Smith created.

By 'factions' are you referring to Community, Administration and Former/Present Football players & coaches? Or are they 1) Superintendent, 2) HS Principal and 3) Board Members.
