The end of Forrest Gump is pretty darn sad...

Yep, the scene where he is at Jenny's grave still gets to me sometimes.

In a somewhat related story, I get to meet Hanna Hall, who played young Jenny in Forrest Gump in March. :thumb:

The first movie I ever cried at was Armageddon. The most recent movie that made me cry was Click. I was going into that movie expecting another stupid humor Adam Sandler comedy so it really caught me off guard.

My wife was balling at "We are Marshall"...no comedic relief in that one!

:thumb: I shed a tear during that one as well, living close to Huntington,W.Va and remembering when that happened (I was in Jr. High).

I suppose this made it hit a little closer to some in our area than in others.

That crash affected not just Huntington but our entire tri-state area for a long time and in some ways it still does.

The only movie I have really shed a tear over "3" with Barry Pepper just a sad one!

The scene toward the end of "Backdraft" where they present Kurt Russell's wife with the flag...

The first time I saw it in the theater... when bagpipes were playing Amazing Grace at Spock's funeral I think a spec of lint got into my eye.

I forgot Green Mile and also Dead Man Walking with Sean Penn about the guy on death row.

The end of Schindler's List.

I have really been wanting to see Amazing Grace sense it's theatrical release.

We Are Marshall

Rudy (when he gets the sack...it's so awesome)

Taking the chance of being ridiculed mercilessly

Steel Magnolias

The scene after Shelby's funeral where Sally Field is is mad at the whole world and venting her hurt to her friends. It comes to an abrupt end however, when Sally Field says she just wants to hit something and Olympia Dukakis grabs Shirley MacLaine and tells her to "here hit Ouiser", Ouiser of course being MacLaine's character. You go from tears to laughter in seconds.
