The Pursuit of Happiness is what you're thinking of... and yes, it is extremely sad! When they're sleeping in the bathroom in the subway station and people keep beating on the door wanting in, and he's just holding his son... so sad.

Very sad movie also.

I would say that any movie that an animal dies in makes me cry for some reason. I hate to see cute little animals die :(.

Field of Dreams wins this one in a landslide for me and mainly due to very personal reasons. When Costner utters the line "Hey dad, you wanna have a catch?" at the end of the movie it's lights out for me.

Another one is "The Christmas Shoes" with Rob Lowe which was released as a made for TV movie a few years ago. I seriously think it may be the saddest movie ever made.

"Terms of Endearment" a wonderful wonderful movie which has been unfairly labelled a "chick flick" over the years.

Where the Red Fern Grows

Castaway (the scene where he leaves his former wife, Helen Hunt for the last time)

My Life - the final scene where Michael Keaton gets the birthday party he always wished for.

Mask (Cher NOT the Jim Carey movie) - The scene where Cher places the push pins in the map on the wall representing all the places her son wanted to visit.

Glory - the end of the movie when Denzel Washington's dead body rolls over Matthew Broderick's body after the final battle of the movie.

Beaches - the scene where Barbara Hershey is lying in a lounge chair as she nears death and she glances at Bette Midler next to her. The look in her eyes said so much in such a short scene.

That one gets me too. I think the setting and the background music plays a part in that as well.

I am Legend (the killing of the dog.)

My Dog Skip

That movie with Denzel where his son has a heart attack and he holds up the hospital so they will perform the surgery. Saddest movie I have ever seen.

We Are Marshall...everytime.

I'm done with it...I can barely call myself a man when I watch it.

If I ever felt like killing myself I'd throw this movie in and smack myself for thinking that things were that bad.

Very sad and almost unimaginable movie.

The end of "It's A Wonderful Life" when Ernie announces Sam Wainwright has wired $25,000 to George.

"Terms Of Enderment"

"The Elephant Man"

"E.T."

"City Lights"
