January 2, 200818 yr I watched Michigan play many times this year and this is BY FAR the best they looked all year. They really opened up the offense for this game, makes you wonder where that's been all year. Congrats Coach Carr... you guys surprised A LOT of people today.
January 2, 200818 yr Maybe it is just me, but I think more of the debate is the depth of the conference. I don't think many can argue about OSU and UM, it is pretty much everyone after that. Exactly. The number of quality teams. Not just one or two. Every conference has one or two good teams.
January 2, 200818 yr The GREAT SEC.... loses to one of the slowest teams from the Big 11?????? How many total yards did Michigan have on Ohio State.... Enjoy....... Michigan is better than Florida, which was not a surprise to most.....and they probably have the most overall speed in the big 10. It's good to see Coach Carr go out with a win in his last game.:thumb:
January 2, 200818 yr Although I picked Florida, I found myself pulling for UM (Carr which is class, Kentucky kids on UM, etc.) to pull off the victory. By far the best game Michigan played all season. If anyone has kept up with Florida, you know they have been ripped to shreds a good portion of this season; too much inexperience on the defensive side of the ball. I was not shocked Michigan would put up points. I expected Florida to put up a couple more TDs.
January 2, 200818 yr The GREAT SEC.... loses to one of the slowest teams from the Big 11?????? How many total yards did Michigan have on Ohio State.... Enjoy....... They are far from the slowest team in the Big Ten and no excuses for Wolverine fans for the Ohio State game but both Henne and Hart were playing hurt in that game as they did all season. Also, the weather in that game was awful.
January 2, 200818 yr How much PT have Logan and Zirbel received at UM? I am not sure about Logan, but Zirbel has played in some backup/late game moments and is on the FG/XP team.
January 2, 200818 yr I was really neutral in this game bc I really don't like either one of them . That was untill I saw the Florida players before the game start with what imo was a little more than "trash talk" when they started jumping up and down on the logo and taunting Michigan. IMO this was classless and especially since that it was Coach Carr's last game. I then started pulling for Michigan (and yes, I am an OSU fan:lol:). Lloyd Carr deserved this win and to go out like this. I love Ohio State football and I have certainly made jabs at Michigan and Carr's record vs. Tressel and the like. That goes along with it, I really respect Lloyd Carr and I also respect Michigan and thier football tradition. I want to beat the crap out of them but I do respect te heck out of them as well :thumb:. I am also a U.K. fan and some of my favorite teams are whoever is playing Tennessee or Louisville on any given night . I just hought that the U.F actions before the game and several instances during the game were completely clasless. This may be one of the few times that I am glad for a Michigan win......:lol:. Congrats to Coach Lloyd Carr, college football will miss him.

I am assuming you meant U.F.?
January 2, 200818 yr They are far from the slowest team in the Big Ten and no excuses for Wolverine fans for the Ohio State game but both Henne and Hart were playing hurt in that game as they did all season. Also, the weather in that game was awful. I do believe that OSU had some players hurting in that one as well. Also, unless I am mistaken didn't both teams have to play on that field:confused: in that same weather condititons? Sounds like exuses to me....LOL.
January 2, 200818 yr I am assuming you meant U.F.? :eek:Yes, I stand corrected, it is just so easy to place UT in that same category.....

January 2, 200818 yr I missed the beginning of the game. What happened? From what I could tell and from what the t.v. announcers/commentators were saying the Florida players came onto the field where Michigan was already out going thruogh pre game/warmups. They started jumping up and down on a Michigan logo and ponting/taunting them. Both teams came together but luckily it didn't go into a brawl or "ugly" incident. They (t.v.) showed a clip of this and it was also on the post game and "inside college football show. All of the comentators were pretty much blasting UT players for it and a couple of them made the statement about the UT coaches standing there and not stopping them. One comment was "this is not pros, if you coach in college tells you not to do something or to stop what you are doing there is avery strong possibility that you will":D They were talking about the UT coaches were doing nothing to try and stop thier players actions untill later when the two teams were coming together in a confritation. That is what I got from it anyay.

January 2, 200818 yr SEC honks have to take this one on the chin. UM played inspired ball, and punched Florida in the mouth, OWNING them. Go figure Hart goes 1,100 carries without a fumble, than lays the pill down twice INSIDE THE FIVE....UF i slucky they didn't get blown out in this one. RON ENGLISH to LOUISVILLE, how sweet it is.
