I know that you can't take any poll seriously in just about any sport. Thankfully everything is decided on the court as the season progresses.

No one knows how these ratings are calculated. Alot of teams in Jefferson Co. schedule a lot of cupcake games early and run up the score on their opponents to obtain a higher seed. check the early schedules of PRP and J-town. Why would you schedule some of those games other than to pad your LIT ratings

I love to see the small schools (especially ones out of the 16th) compete with the big boys around the state as much as the next guy. At no time during this season should Elliot have been ranked number 1.

Only if they win games against ranked opponents. They will have plenty of opportunities with the remainder of their schedule.

Wouldn't care so much, but people look at these to see whats going on in Kentucky concerning high school basketball.

A little ridiculous, Elliot County plays there top 7 guys the entire game in 40 to 50 point blowouts and because of their margin of victory and total points scored end up with a ranking like this. They are a very good team, but should not be ranked ahead of several other teams.
