Umm......I have a tough time believing Elliot County is number 1. I am sure I am in the minority on this one.

Not in the minority IMO. Look at the date this came out.

Liken has been out of his house too long. :sssh:

Not this time, my good friend.....

Perhaps they are ranking by points per game.;)

Actually, he must put a lot of weight in his ratings on that. And probably winning margin. I think Cantrell's ratings in the Lexington Herald-Leader are more accurate, but I don't always agree with them either.

Our district used to use the Litkenhouse Ratings to seed our district. This was back in the late '70s. We stopped it after a few years when it was obvious they were out of whack. One year, the top rated team by tournament time had lost both season matches to another team. How do you rate them 1 in the district? Now, we simply play our way into a seed, which is how it should have been in the first place.

Coaches think they are both junk. They need to discontinue them both. Doss has one win and will make the LIT tourney. Wow!

They won't be discontinued. They're like the AP and other rankings, they generate discussion, just like right now on BGP.

Actually, there is a chance they will be discontinued or at least overhauled. There is some who say they will stop using them to select the LIT field as well.

This will change now that the Holiday's are over.

His slide rule must have frozen up!!!!
