The Beacon Journal reported Thursday that Damon Jones declined Cavs coach Mike Brown's request to enter the victory Tuesday over the Miami Heat with 57 seconds to play. He was not alone.

Ira Newble also declined to go into the game at that time. Both players didn't want to play just a minute of garbage time. Brown said Thursday that any consequences will "be handled internally." -- The Akron Beacon Journal
