I was basically stating why some of the parents there explain their struggles of the team and scheduling to me. From there it went to a totally different subject.

I agree with Mcpapa on this issue. Rose Hill is a good team in the 16th region and will have a chance to play for the title but I dont see them being a top 25 team in the state. They have two very good ball players in Jackson and Euton. Euton is argueably one of the top big men in the state and he's only a sophomore. Also, Jackson is no doubt the most athletic player in the 16'th. The kid can get to the rim at will, but he's gonna have to develope a more consistant out side shot to be effective at the college level. But what it all comes down to is that Rose Hill has absolutely nobody after these two players. The Fuller kid is descent but the other kids wouldnt get on the floor for most teams in the region. Euton and Jackson are really going to have to step it up in the post season if RH wants a chance to make it to Rupp.

RH, welcome to the 11th region. Henry Clay is one of those teams that can play very good basketball when they decide to. In the 11th region, however, they are no better than 4th, possibly lower as evidenced by their thrashing at the hands of Bryan Station. When Moses decides to take over a game, he has all the tools to do it, he just hasn't been as well publicized as other players for whatever reason.

Good to see a third Royal score a little. That may bode well for play inside the region.

Didn't want to "avoid" posting after a RH loss. Just got back in town. Saw Chad Jackson last night in Lex. where our middle school teams were playing Lex. Cath. and he said that they just ran out of gas midway through the 3rd. So, I assume he is nearly as good a source as being there. Enjoy all of the negative posts that a Rose Hill loss brings. Rose Hill will have to turn it up to compete outside of the region. Sounds like Nate Q. played well which is good news.

Chad Jackson is a very nice looking sophomore. Chad needs to continue to work on his overall game and, especially, Chad needs to develop his left hand. He is just not comfortable going to his left.

BTW Spindoc...you said your middle school teams were in Lexington as well, how did they fare against Lex Catholic? You have some good Middle School teams, so I figure they competed quite well.

The 6th and 8th grades played . RH won both .Each by about 10 points.
