Rose Hill is evidently way overrated.

 

The only place I have seen Rose Hill rated was in the Cubster's poll. So I'm not really sure how they can be overrated. Let's for the the sake of argument say they are overrated then what does that say for the rest of the 16th region where they are currently 3-0?

 

Anyone who isn't riding the short bus knows that Elliott Co. is the best team in the region at this point.

 

I would question the scheduling decision as much as anything. Rose Hill played a district rival the night before and then travels about 2 hours the next morning and plays at noon. That's a tough turnaround. Doesn't account for 23 points but it seems to be unfair to expect your players to be able to perform at a high level under those circumstances.

Victor Moses played limited minutes in the first half, but really turned it up in the second half. He is a very passive person by nature and can play like a top 10 player in the state when he is able to turn up his intensity a notch or two.

 

Aaron Boyd was on his recruiting visit to UK and did not play. He really wasn't missed against Rose Hill. This Blue Devil team is no world beater, but they do have some outstanding athletes. I fell they will continue to look great one night, and very poor the next. It is all about protecting the ball against their pressure.

 

You mean it was 20 plus win for HC with Boyd missing and Moses playing less minutes than normal? That's interesting.

According to your previous post, the Boyd County game was easier for RH than a practice. Surely Boyd didnt take a toll out of RH, or did they:sssh:

From what I have been told from some of my buddies that wear the Blue, they say that some of their players they thought would fill the gaps in the Starting lineup decided to go back across the State line and the players left are playing the best they can. They say they are great kids, just not the potential as needed to compete with RH's Schedule.

 

Really cant imagine the stars staying at a school that cant put the kids around them that will allow them to play a serious schedule. Hopefully some of the younger players step up in the next year or two for RH.

The scheduling in this situation was poorly planned. This loss doesn't make Rose Hill a bad team but it does make you less than informed if you expected a different outcome. Just like it was pure ignorance to look at Boyd Co.'s lack of guard play and expect them to beat Rose Hill.

Moses had nearly half of HC points according to the DI online. Maybe if he had played more he would have had all of them.

That would be my post. It is based on the fact that I would have expected more after having read all the hype about Euton verbally committing to UK and all the pre season talk about Rose Hill.

 

I do see where your coming from but Henry Clay is ranked #10 by this website, which is highly regarded.

Nothing wrong with scheduling teams back-to-back, and maybe even with a little travel involved. Good teams do it all the time. Helps to simulate tournament conditions, and is a good barometer of conditioning.

I never said you said those words exactly...Just the way you acted. You acted like Boyd was an Elem School team. You have done nothing but Trash Boyd County since you joined BGPreps. Dont know why you cant support ALL of the 16th Region teams.

 

I just hope for your sake that Fairview or RH make it out of District play or you are going to be lonely.
