Must say I am shocked by this one. Fairview must have a better team then expected. Rose Hill will need players other then Jackson and Euton to step up if their going to be considered some peoples favorite for the 16th (I still like Elliott).

Hey ref, I don't know the guy's name, but the grey haired tall guy (resembles a bald eagle) who was on Joe Billman's crew tonight was brutal. Someone told me that Bobby Hall was supposed to be on this crew. Bobby, where in the world were you? Uncle Sam struggles, both ends.

 

Was truly impressed with how good a player that Cameron Hall was. He's a player. Rose Hill missed 15 layups. Some were no-calls, some were not.

It felt like March in early December in the Fairview gym tonight. Both schools had good crowds that were very vocal.

 

Euton had a double-double scoring 14 and pulling down 11 boards. Jackson had 27 points and 8 boards. I don't have stats for Fairview, but Hall and Collins played big. This was a brutal half court contest, with a lot of banging and bumping inside the 3pt arc.

Who had the rebounding, assist, and turnover advantage? How many shots were taken?

I'll guess that Fairview had the rebounding edge, alot of offensive boards. Jackson got it done at the line.

I have saw Rex touch a player(on the other team I might add) and help the player ease around him. He is very protected

I believe this was the first game for RH. I think they need to shake the rust off quicker before heading to Marshall Co. this weekend or it will not be an enjoyable weekend tournament.

Watched the game but didnt understand some of the concepts from both teams. Thats all I will say about the game other than both teams played hard and emotional.

Bobby Hall is doing color for WLGC I think. Quality officials are lacking in the 16th. Come on Bob, drop the mike and put the stripes back on.

The good news was Jon Vanhoose extended himself and didn't allow Jackson a shot from 9ft+ instead of my predicted 15ft+.

I think Jackson just plays above everyone else , sounds like both teams played hard and both teams will find somethign positive in the game, I hear Jackson didnt guard Hall until the final few minutes, but Hall was huge for Fairview

64th is a brutal district this year

ps OJ got beat by Memphis in overtime, good game though

I dont know why everyone is shocked about this score. RH is just a 2 man team and thats it. This goes to show you that playing AAU ball and getting recognozed out of state does nothing for you. Basketball is a team game and RH doesnt have it.

Elliott by far is the best team. I thought Fairview would win this game just due to the coaches but I guess not.
