The streak came to an end for the 6th grade Wolfpack. Missing starters Nate Verst and Zac McNeil (because of school conflicts), the Wolfpack lost to the Legends bringing their record to 22 - 1. The final was 55 - 46 at HOOPS. The score at half was Wolfpack 27 - Legends 22. But with only 1 player on the bench, the Wolfpack ran out of gas in the 2nd half. Moeves and Geiman scored all 19 points in the 2nd half. It was only a 6 point deficit with a little over a minute remaining and the Wolfpack had to start fouling, then couldn't convert when they got the ball back. Moeves missed 2 wide open looks from 3 and Geiman had a "bomb" rim in and out.

Can you expense the gas? Thats a lot of trips to Louieville but I am sure its a great experience.

The Legends are the real deal and can compete with the Warriors and Tarheels for D1 state. Our coaches and players did the best they could do with the limited squad.

 

The Hoops facility is the best in the state and probably one of the nicest basketball facilities there is. It is definitely better than anything around here in terms of a basketball facility. You should definitely go there to play at least once.

Is the 6th grade Wolfpack playing at the KBA this coming weekend? I heard they would be there. What can you tell me about them.

The Omega All-Stars 10u will also be at the KBA this next weekend. I'm pretty sure we'll be missing some kids though..

Dave Brock schedules the refs. He uses very few NKY officials. Most of his officials are not licensed and are from Ohio. The good licensed officials in NKY will not work for him. These officials are working at the other facility on Mt. Zion.
