December 2, 200718 yr ...to honor Taylor. They say there was a pretty moving tribute before the game. Can't wait to YouTube it.
December 2, 200718 yr A few years ago, Southern Columbia Area High School in Pennsylvania had a couple players drown in a team outing during the summer preceding the seaosn and both were defensive starters. To honor the lives of both players, the SCAHS coaches and players decided that everytime the defense went to the field for the first time during each game, they would start with only nine players for the first play. With what some say was through the will of the young men that passed away, SCAHS didn't give up a single touchdown on the play throughout the year and went undefeated at 15-0 to take their class state championship. The example that I stated AND the one the UKPat02 stated goes to show that while these guys are out their to knock some heads, they do have a heart and this makes them even better people for doing it.
December 2, 200718 yr Classy move for Buffalo to run one for a big gain on this play... It is a competative football game they want to win. Great tribute for the 'Skins.

December 2, 200718 yr What are they supposed to do, take a knee to begin the ballgame. Nah. You'd hate to give up a down to honor a fallen peer from your profession.
December 2, 200718 yr I would have just ran the ball up the middle. How many yards did they get on the play?
