Not at all the SEC is better. More regarding OSU and weak non conference schedule.

 

All in all this may have been the craziest year of College FB in forever. OSU was just left standing.

 

I do not believe there is a "best" team this year.

I dislike OSU more than any other team but I cant argue them being in. This thread should have been titled different: Ohio State plays for national Championship!

When you have a conference full of top 25 teams (the SEC) just counting wins over top 25 non-conference teams means little. LSU has victories over at least 6 top 25 teams this year period.

While I think the B10 is a 2nd tier BCS conference, to be fair to OSU, pick any team to be in the game and I'll find 5 to 8 others that can beat them. Wacky.

No, because Hawaii wasn't ranked 3rd in the BCS standing going into tonight's games.

In short, they backed their way in. They certainly didn't earn it.

 

I ask you, if they didn't earn it, who DESERVES it more?

 

I hate OSU but you have to give credit where credit is due. Its not like anyone was touting them as more deserving than ANY of the 1 loss teams (aside from Kansas).

If OSU gets the free schedule pass of they beat who they played than Im really mad if Im Hawaii (assuming the BCS gods dont take care of them tonight).

My argument isn't that Ohio St. shouldn't have gotten in. According to the current system, they're in. My complaint is mainly with the BCS for allowing less talented teams to be gifted the title berth, and then me having to settle for an inferior product. Not only that, but I’ll have to put up with incessant Ohio St. condescension from now until they get sacrificed in the title game.

I don't make the rankings I just watch the games.

 

I guess now Mizzu is also considered a "fraud" but you all wanted them and WV? Ohio State might be a questionable team this year but they shouldn't be the only targeted questionable team.

 

They didn't beat OU, if they had, then they would be in....I know it must be a hard concept. Forgive me if I think that you should beat a good team to play in the title game.
