We hear that every week to, Belfry isn't going to be overconfident, you dont have to worry about that. Belfry is coached by a excellent coach and they wont look past anybody.

Some people from Belfry ran into some Breathitt fans in London eating, they said they were headed to the game.

After arguing about were the field was at, the Belfry fans figured out they were going to Russell county lol.

I really think most fans at Breathitt County High School knows where Belfry is,and i am sure of that.You will see that, and I will say we found our way there in 2002 to Viperman and the Cam is so much better place to play,I personally have been there and its the best place in state to play football. In my opinion Breathitt Co. will have to play thier best game of season to stay in the game ,one thing will be said is that Breathitt will smack you in mouth,and can pass the ball,run the ball so you also have to play them or they can and will beat you.

No doubt, fans of these two teams know their way to the other. I LOVE it when Belfry and Breathitt match up, it is always a lot of fun and some really good exciting football.

 

This will be the best team we have played this season, and the most balanced. It will take a great effort by either team to win it. I know Coach Holcomb will have them ready to play and I'm sure Coach Haywood will too.

 

We're looking forward to hosting the Bobcats. Hope everyone has a safe trip and a good experience coming to the CAM. And I hope we all get our money's worth from the game.

Breathitt needs for Belfry to turn the ball over. I'll take Belfry by 28.

I have got to watch both teams play this year. I was also at the Breathitt & Russell game last night. I was not impressed with either team. Russell was not there usual self, they were slow and not very aggresive. Maybe rebuilding this year, but they should have won that game. they gave up big plays down the stretch. Breathitt seem to get a little tired, they have alot of players that go both ways. Russell had no problem moving the ball up the middle. Belfry will kill you if you cant stop the run between the tackles. Breathitt has a good team, but they are just over matched this week. Pirates by three touchdowns.

Breathitt will give Belfry some troubles but Belfry should be able to run the ball straight at them. Breathitt has alot of quickness on defense. They will crowd the line of scrimmage. The potential for the big play is there. Belfry's run game should have a good day against them

 

Offensively Breathitt can give Belfry some problems. If Belfry can get to the QB quickly they pull away. If not it should go right down to the wire.

I'm not from the area but I've been looking forward to this one. From strickly going by the scores and schedule, I gotta give Belfry the edge, but, Breathitt has a great tradition and will be an extremely hard out.

Got to go with my Pirates!! Breathitt won't score 32 on us. This rivalry is always a good match-up. I can't wait. I haven't seen Breathitt play but they are undefeated. That says something. We'll see ya at CAM!!!

I've seen both of these teams play and I'm giving the edge to Belfry. I was impressed with Breathitt last night but I think going down to Belfry and beating a very tough team is too tall a task for them. Belfry can defend the pass better than Russell and that's a key to stopping Breathitt. Belfry can also get to the QB and that will be big next week. I think the Pirates are on their way to the state title. Breathitt is another bump in the road. Belfry is THAT GOOD. (And that's coming from a Russell fan)

I seen Breathitt County play they are a good team I know a few people that has seen Belfry play and the way they talk Belfry should win this game by 14plus Breathitt County skill players was pretty good but Russell had trouble defending the pass all season the middle of the field was open all night long against Russell it was there for Mason County and they quit taking advantage of it so I think Belfry wins this one.
