AdoptedAdmiral and myself just visited Titletownclown in the hospital here in Danville. He was trying to relive his glory days last night in a game of Wallyball. Unfortunatley, he jumped and as soon as he left his feet, his patella tendon completed shredded and his knee cap was displaced about 4 inches or so up his leg. He had to have an emergency surgery last night and is recovering at the hospital today. The doc says he won't be able to bend his leg at all for 6 weeks and will require crutches for 6 months. Everyone remember him in your prayers and send a little shot out to him on here.

If there has to be some good news out of it, he will have plenty of time now to roam these great message boards during a busy, busy holiday sports season.

Get well soon! :thumb:

That's what we talked about tonight. He'll have to get a laptop and a setup on the couch, but it'll be a good time to catch up with Gametime's post total.

You crazy Danville bunch...

Get well soon TTC!

Goin under the knife for the 3rd time on the knee in a couple of weeks myself, I feel for ya bro, get well soon!

Yep. For all the coaching changes in sports, scandals, recruiting, uplifting stories of courage and constant change in the world. The one thing we can ALWAYS count on is GT posting 112 times a day.

Oh No! Clown! We're old and we can't do that stuff anymore, dude! I feel badly for you. We have a very good painkiller here in Bardstown that is made of this sour mash . . .

I pray for the skill of the docs and hope you feel better, my friend. Make those nurses give you real food, doggonit.

Even working 7 jobs, I keep you guys informed... :p:D

Yep, the 7 jobs, all the posts on here AND the beautiful significant other. Don't know how you do it, but god bless you.

Yikes. As an old guy who still plays a lot of b-ball I do not like to hear about knee injuries.

At least TTC will now have time to reconsider his investment approach and come around to my way of thinking!(This will only have a meaning to him);)

The one problem I have with the story is that it implies he got off the ground. From what the folks in Danville tell me, that's not happening.:p

I keep telling my wife and doctor that exercise will get you hurt. See?

Get well quick, ttc.

Get well soon Clown. Hope you feel better.

I always fear something like that happening to me, but it never comes true. I'm sure my days are numbered, but man that must suck. I feel for you TTC.
