November 23, 200718 yr On the lighter side, at least he won't be missing any local high school football games... Okay, that may have been below the belt. Best of luck on a speedy recovery TTC.... OUCH....from both of us..............:lol::lol: I am sorry to hear about your injury....if I wasn't in Lexington each day I would come up and yak with you for a while. If you need anything, look me up in the phone book and let me know what I can do for you.
November 24, 200718 yr Best of luck with the recovery, TTC. I have been in on the knee surgery (ACL) myself. Hang in there.
November 26, 200718 yr Just got back on BGP for the first time since Monday. I will spare all the details. Let's just say the past several days have involved a lot of pain, needles, morphine, percocet, doctors, pretty nurses, unconsciousness, scalpels, huge scars, hospital rooms, and longing to be back on bgp. Looks like I have about a month before I can return to work and 6 months of total time to recuperate from this one. If some of you guys thought my jokes were bad before, think of how bad they will be when I have nothing to do at all AND I'm heavily medicated at the same time.:thumb: Seriously, the comments, prayers, and concerns mean more than you guys will ever possibly know, and I am so thankful to be a part of this awesome BGP family. Be patient with me. If you notice me trailing off in the middle of a sentence or rambling (more than the usual) that just means that it is "Every 4 Hours" or "As Needed" time. No worry. Adopted Admiral, your Guitar Hero comment was great.

I've been following your mom's situation in the other thread and have kept you guys in my thoughts and prayers. It's hard to believe she has been in the hospital for 10 weeks!!!! I was in for 2 nights and was so relieved when the docs told me I could leave on the 3rd day.
November 26, 200718 yr Hope you make it to State.:thumb: My only goal for the next few weeks is (too much information alert) to make it to the bathroom. Right now it takes about the same amount of time as it usually takes driving to the pizza box.

Seriously, I hope you heal quickly. Tax time cometh.
November 26, 200718 yr Should we go ahead and do a mercy suspension of your BGP user rights? Seriously, I hope you heal quickly. Tax time cometh. That would probably do me in. BGP will be playing a vital role in the recovery process to be sure. Interestingly enough, the beginning of tax season is right around the anticipated time that I should be able to return to the office.
