November 19, 200718 yr I think WV does have a shot. KU/Misso one of them will lose. Then that puts the winner vs OU. If Misso wins then that would make WV #2. If KU wins and gets beat by OU. Then WV is still #2. WVU should take care of Uconn at home and beat Pitt. This team has a good shot. WVU only needs Kansas to fall as it stands right now...

Would be nice to see that cinderalla team like Kansas or Missouri make it. Honestly I don't care about the Big 12 either. :lol: Either way, have to give congrats on all the teams surviving to this point in the season. Considering how bizarre everything has been. I guess to answer the question in 12 thousand words or less, YES, West Virginia does have a good chance to get in the NC game.
November 20, 200718 yr WVU only needs Kansas to fall as it stands right now... It seems that if Mo beat KU, Missouri could jump ahead of WVU in the BCS standings. I think for WV to be guaranteed a championship game, LSU and Kansas need to lose and WV needs to win this week.

November 21, 200718 yr Yes, they do if they win out. I disagree with this. West Virginia definitely has to win out and I think they need Kansas AND Missouri to lose. Obviously if Kansas beats Missouri and Oklahoma/Texas in the Big XII championship game, they be in the top two. Missouri, who is currently ranked behind West Virginia, would most likely pass WVU if they beat Kansas and then Oklahoma/Texas. West Virginia's last two wins (Connecticut and Pittsburgh) just wouldn't be enough of a boost in the computers and Missouri would pass them. In a perfect world for a West Virginia fan, Kansas, Missouri AND LSU would all lose over the next couple weeks and they would play Ohio State in the championship game. At which point, the good folks in Morgantown could go ahead and clear space in the trophy case for the BCS trophy.
November 22, 200718 yr If missouri beats Kansas and wins Big XII championship i think they deserve to play in the title game, idk how WV jumped over Mizzou last week in the BCS just because they beat UC... Doesnt make sense to me.
