You all lost to North Oldham just a few weeks ago.

Yeah...by 11...two days after the life threatening injury to Bird. Let's just say that the same plan had to change a bit after that Wednesday night. That they Raiders could pull themselves together and play the game speaks volumes.

With that said, good luck Henry County. Let's hope that you can prove the nay-sayers wrong. :thumb:

Unless Henry County gets about 22 transfers in this week they won't beat PT at PT. Leonard & Percy might want to stop drinking the shine.

PT 49

HC 0

See editted quote, if you could not read my gibberish the first time.

I thought Paducah Tilghman was very very fast on "D" and if they get loose on the Offensive side, say goodbye, cause you are going to catch them...Tilghman rolls in a watered down Western half of the bracket...

Tilghman 42

Henry Co. 16

My wish for the Wildcats is victory. However, no matter what the outcome- leave with your heads held high.

Seniors LEAD your team onto the field and remember to make the moment count. Play each play like it is your last and never give up on yourself, your teammate or your coaches.

The same defense that gave up 36 to Trimble County, 33 to Pendleton County and 42 to Scott?

9-3...you mention the 3 they didn't. There were 9 other games they played very well on D. Hence...suffocating at times. However, Tilghman is a different team then anything Henry has seen. Tilghman has to be looking ahead. Just like they did against ACS and Union, two teams they could have beat by as many as the scoreboard can hold. My point is they shouldn't overlook HC, a caged animal can be a dangerous animal. Good luck to both teams.

If you would have read the thread you would have seen what Trimble had too do with this thread. No it was not the superbowl, point being maybe if Trimble was in that district in class 3a they would be able to get beat by PT like you are this week.

No, if TC was in that distirct, they would still be at home...North Oldham would be traveling to get beat by PT. Enjoy the turkey, I am sure HC is glad to still be playing-regardless of being a 100 point underdog! Good luck to Coach Poynter next season. He's a heck of a coach. :thumb:

That's debatable. Eminence put up 20 on them ... several teams held them to less during the season.

And besides, did any one of those nine wins come against anybody that's very good?

I think Eminence is a rivalry game for them (much more speed than HC)...we all know how rivalries go. Good is however people want to percieve it. The point is you only pointed out the 3 losses, I pointed out they have 9 wins...that's all. Like many things, it's all in how you skew it. Either way, Henry Co. has never won a playoff game none-the-less made it to the third round, Paducah is where they are supposed to be. If HC loses, they are supposed to...but what if??? Hey, stranger things have happened. If you can't tell, I like the movie Hoosiers:thumb:

You stated that Coach Martin had a team full of Seniors, I beg to differ with you, we only have 6 that even played. I do wish you luck with PT and we will meet again next year.

:dancingpa Good, both games will be @ Henry. Can't wait !!!

Paducah Tilghman 35-6.

Being the starter of this thread and learning more of Henry as the year went on, I am surprised of people trying of minimize what they have accomplished. Don't be afraid to give support to teams that are still playing.

Hello football fans, 'ol Leonard here with a slight hangover looking for the hair of the dog. All of a sudden everybody's talking about Henry County football. I guess that's possible when your team is out of the runnin'. We're happy to have you aboard. Will this be an upset if Henry Co. wins? Of course, it will be a huge upset. But so far the clock hasn't struck midnight and Cinderella is still dancin' at the ball. And that's all you can ask for during Thanksgiving week. Don't write us off yet. We will show up and play the game. And we will give it our best effort. If that is not good enough, so be it. Lookin' forward to checkin' out your thought the rest of the week. Let's go Percy, Momma's looking for me.
