  1. Don't know much about Ballard or the connection between the two.
  2. Knute, I've been told that Coach E brought in a new offensive coordinator this year and he Coach E is running the defense. Coach E has made several quotes in the paper regarding the defense I believe he is running the defense.
  3. Brother Knute, let the big heads get bigger, you no what happens then!!!:dancingpa
  4. You have different options for the spread offense to choose from. You must be sure to choose the right one to fit your kids for more than one year. You must stay with it for a period of time. This is not the type of offense to try and run for a year. You must buy into the system and run it. As far as the quaterback, i'll take smart over athletic any day of the week.
  5. Knute get off the bottle, 05 team was beaten by Western Hills in the first ever Dairy Queen Bowl an yes they were coached by guess who Coach Engstrand. Remember the old saying " what have you done for me lately". The accomplishments by HC have never ever been done before. 1. First playoff win in school history 2. First home playoff game in school history 3. First home playoff win in school history 4. Second home playoff game in school history 5. Second home playoff win in school history 6. Undefeated in district play So to attempt to compare the accomplishments of HC this year to 04,05 is ludicrous. Regardless to what happens at PT, HC is still playing. You'll say the schedule was not as tough or this or that. Bottom line, it is what it is.
  6. What does Trimble County have to do with this thread. Trimble is home having turkey, Henry played Trimble in August. Trimble County was based on a Bird. The Bird has flown. Henry is based on a team philosophy. When Trimble beat Henry this year it was like winning the super bowl to Trimble. Why? I don't know. Maybe because it had been several years since Trimble had won. It's not like Henry Co. has been a powerful house over the last Sixty years. Guess what, it's coming!! :ylsuper:
  7. Man, Knute claim down and stay with the thread. This is the N.Oldham vs Spencer Co. thread. I think Henry Co. has a thread. Please for your health and the health of all, take your meds. Good luck & best wishes.
  8. Agree! Spencer is tough, should be a close game!
  9. I Know Scott has a Big Strong Back who enjoys running over defenders. I don't know if the Henry CO. Lbers can handle him. He ran for 265 yds on 29 carries last week vs a good Ludlow team.
  10. BEECHWOOD, BEECHWOOD IS WELL BEECHWOOD!!
  11. I'LL SECOND THAT 6'2 205 I've been told 4.75 speed
  12. :ylsuper: agree with that, Joe is to big & strong for the Henry CO. linebacking corp. Look for a big game from him again this week.
  13. :ylsuper: Knute that's great. By the way would you ever consider coming back. I know the university has contacted me, not interested, what you say?
  14. A fan, I think I stated that Henry was avg. this coming after the SC game. I don't think that makes you a fan. I simply believe that North Oldham is much better after watching both teams play. Not taking any thing away from Henry.
  15. Dark Horse, this is no place for sarcasm. The Coaching staff is doing a great job. They have brought a program out of the depths of internal misery.
  16. After seeing the North Oldham defense over the last several weeks i feel Henry is avg. at best. North is one of the top defensive teams in 3A.
  17. Hey Knute, great quote Coach Martin and his staff are doing a great job with North this year. Can you tell me how the talent pool looks down the road? I know North has many seniors this year. I feel North is very very lucky to have a Billy Martin. Hope he's around for along time to come.
  18. :fight: Since were taken back words Henry's run defense looked great I bet SC had less than 100 yards rushing on the night. Henry gave up something like 100 yards throwing in the first half. To say Henry's pass defense is very suspect is going out on a limb. Each time I've seen them they have brought a lot of pressure. Maybe they have to if they can't cover anyone!
