November 18, 200718 yr UK AD was on Uk's pre game show this morning and this topic was brought up. BCG and UK has a signed agreement but it doesnt go into much depth. I believe it talks about the money and incentives and so forth but not alot of legal things. Mitch Barnhart said that they are goingto live with this agreement and not have a full blown contract.

BCG can coach and recruit and I honestly don't see him getting fired or leaving over wins and losses. I feel that is what the contract issue is all about, as I am hearing UK wants a not so simple "morals clause" in the contract. While those a very common, UK wants very strict wording. I see all this ending very badly in 3-4 years at most, and not over wins and losses.............................

Larry Glover said as much yesterday on his morning show (about the extra-curricular activities). My belief is that UK wants a pretty strict morals clause in the contract, just as JD said. I've been hesitant to comment on BCG, but I felt when they hired him it would end up on either end of the spectrum - that is, uparalleled success, or, a fiery crash. Take it for what it is, I'm a UK fan and always will be, but this whole contract episode (and a loss to Gardner Webb) has me a little worried.
