I am anxious to see how Trinity's pass defense holds up in this game. Ballard had a fairly easy time throwing the ball on Trinity during the regular season match-up. Assuming Trinity wins, I am glad they faced Ballard, as it will serve as an extra three hours of practice of trying to defend Henry Clay's spread offense.

 

Good point! I think we are a different team this time around with Ratcliff and Sims in the defensive backfield. Also, Nick Van Wallaghen is 100%. This is a great warmup for Henry Clay... GO ROCKS!

I hope the team isn't looking at it as a "warmup." Ballard has three very good offensive threats in Weakley, Perkins and Pryor. They have some tall, athletic receivers, too, if I'm not mistaken. Trinity's defense needs to step up and not give them a chance to break loose. Do not look ahead to Henry Clay! Ballard does not like Trinity and will be primed for the upset. T needs to answer and exceed their intensity.

I am sure that Ballard will bring a different game this time around. I think one of the critics is still suffering from Male's loss last years to the Rocks. But the Bruins game will be a lot closer game that any in recent years. 21-14

I would not be worried. We don't care that much for Ballard either. We will be ready for this game. The question mark is Ballard. We hear every year that "things we be different", yet it does not turn out that way.

1.Bruins don't show up= blowout.

2.Bruins show up= closer game that the Rocks still win.

So Sims and Radcliff are going on both sides of the ball. Is Sims healthy? I thought he limped off last week. Did he get hurt on offense or defense? How many are seeing action on both sides? Robey, Sims, Radcliff, Another lineman?

 

This compares with Ballard that I think 3 or 4 of their team goes both ways. Actually T J Pryor is a pretty good safety.
