I have seen how well this team can play. If that effort is given from start to finish Ballard is not in the game. If the effort of the first game defensively is given Ballard is in the game. I look for this to be a statement game for the Rocks on both sides of the ball.

Ballard has enough athletic ability to make this a tough game if Trinity is looking ahead. Coach Beatty is very good at keeping the team focussed at this time of year. Trinity by 14 to 21.

I have no reason to think this game will be any closer than the first matchup. If anything, Trinity is starting to peak and the margin could be wider.

I think it's interesting how the posters on here are paying more attention to the St. X Vs. Manual game thread, than the Trinity Vs. Ballard game thread.

The playoff matchup between these two squads is usually not as close as the regular season since Beatty arrived. I would suspect if we play Henry Clay next week that you'll see far more interest.

It's been my experience that the more competitive matchup more often than not generates more interest, hence the larger thread. Are you suggesting something different, BC?
