Assuming Russell can get past the first two games I think Brethitt and Russell at Russell will be a great game. The winner will be a huge underdog against the Belfry Red Army.

Nobody is a huge underdog in the semifinals. Russell has been to the last two championship games and they beat Belfry in the semifinals both times to get there. The Red Devils have a team of players that knows what it takes to get there, they are the favorites in the east until somebody finds a way to beat them.

Watusi, it sure is nice of you to say so many nice things about the other 3A teams. BUT THERE IS NO WAY BELFRY IS NOT THE FAVORITE THIS YEAR Maybe you went to a Lou Holtz lecture on how to play up your opponents while downplaying your own chances :lol:

If Lynn Camp can get by Campbellsville, I look forward to the rematch with Williamsburg. Also if (that is a big if) LC can get by both Campbellsville and Williamsburg, I would love to see Hazard and LC battle again.

I would like to see Johnson Central play Woodford again. However I think JC has their hands full in the opening round.

Meade vs Greenwood

We played awful the first time we played the Gators. I believe there will be a different outcome if we should meet in the district finals. The problem is I think that Nelson has Greenwoods number . If we are fortunate enough to get past North Hardin I think we will be playing Nelson again.

Nelson played awful when they played Meade the first time. I would like to see that re-match now that Nelson's veer is working.
