Navy 46 Notre Dame 44

Featured Replies

Weis is a moron. He had the ball on the 25 yard line in a tie game with 40 seconds left in the 4th quarter. It was 4th and 7-8. What does he do? He goes for it and the QB gets sacked. Even Dave Wannstedt woudl've had enough sense to attempt the FG in that situation.

That's the worst decision I've seen in college football in a long time. I think the Irish will bounce back in the next couple of years. He still doesn't have all his players running his system. I am patient enough to give him that chance. Congrats to Navy! I thought they deserved the win and it's great to see schools like Navy come up big!

If a supposedly top level division 1 program doesn't have a kicker that is dependable enough to kick a 35-yard field goal with the game on the line, then they need to make some changes. :fire:

Actually, beating Notre Dame is not that big a deal anymore. Maybe their time has come and gone. Harvard and Army were powerhouses at one time too. But not now.

Does UK have the longest consectutive losing streaks against an opponent now?

Yes Number 1 longest and number 2 now.

No. 1 is to Tennessee and No. 2 is to Florida

But on a side note WAY TO GO NOTRE LAME!!!!!!! WAHOOOOO 1-8 and a guaranteed BCS birth if they can just win one more game and finish 2-10, because we all know all Notre Dame needs to get to the BCS is a 10 somewhere in their record!

Every time I feel bad about UL's season, I remember ND.

So UK now has the 1 and 2 longest opponent streaks? That's fun... :fire:

How comforting to know that even if UK wins that very winnable game at the end of this year that they'll still be saddled with that label.

It happens when you have to play the big boys every year. I can't remember how many games I've sit through that UK had those two programs beat only to blow it! Up huge on Tenn and blow it the 2nd half. 7 int's vs Florida only to lose in the final seconds. You all wonder why people are so die hard KY fans and get so excited when they get on a roll........ sacrifice my friend.... sacrifice! There's been a lot of heartbreak but it only makes the big wins that much sweeter!

Unless there was something wrong with every single kicker on the team this was the dumbest decision I have ever seen in a football game, with Les Myle's call at a close second.
