Blandon Clemons from Bath county could be the best all handler in the 16th

Looking MUCH BETTER. I would trade #4 and #5. Chris is a very good offensive and defensive player to support his team while Timmy needs some time to mature. He gets into foul trouble or stays way out of the way.

I would not put knipp in the top ten. Maybe Hall or Thomas.

In all seriousness though,

Don't know about 10 players but i'll pick 5.

1. Chad Jackson- don't care about rankings or hype....he has the most potential in the region. If he gets a consistent jumper and puts on some weight, we could be watching him play in the league where you get payed.

2. Euton- Nice to see that he is playing inside out, he is a nightmare when he does that. He should just post, post, post, and then step out and bury his trademark 30 footer. If he adds more athleticism and strength in the next two years he will be unreal, he plays so hard.

3. Ethan Faulkner- Most important player in the region to his team. He is the coach on the floor and is a threat to get a triple double on any night. He would make any of the top 8 or so teams in the region a contender to make it to Rupp if he was on their team. Morehead State and Eastern should be all over this kid.

4. Ferguson- Best pure scorer in the region. Impossible to guard when he is on. Very underrated defender, imo.

5. Different player depending on what night you are watching. I'll go with Matt Thomas because he is usually pretty consistent. You know what you are going to get 17 points or so, and tough hard nosed defense. Thought about Clemons and Metz here, but i couldn't pick one over the other. There are alot of good players in the region, anyone top 10 could be right on any given night, and then it could look terrible 5-10 the next night.

This looks a little more the way I would go at this time of the season except I would slide Johnson up to #7, add Jackson at #8, Sparks #9 Hall #10. I have never been a big believer in Selby being that high.

What about the Barker kid from West Carter? He seems pretty undervalued across the region.......

Barker is a little undervalued, but you have to remember these are fans opinions and for the most part not coaches so many people are over/under rated. Don't know if any coaches would have him in the top 5, but most i would say would have him in atleast the top 15. He doesn't get huge point totals every game, that is probably where he gets lost in the shuffle. Many times you see him with a few 20 point games followed by an 8 point game. This is attributed to the fact that since Oney quit for West they haven't had a reliable #2 scorer and teams just double down on the post. Plus, West Carter hasn't played a few teams in the region such as Ashland and they don't play Rose Hill. Overall, he is a strong power post player with good hands, nice touch, and great athleticsm off of two feet. If he isn't the best shotblocker in the region, he is right up there with them. I would put him above Selby though, he does more things on the floor.

Anybody that don't have Blandon Clemmons from Bath Co. in their top 5 hasn't seen him play.

Are guys disrespecting Justin Middleton from GCHS?

 

If he would learn to play D, maybe he could be there, but I dont think that is going to happen

In their top 3 would be more like it. This kid just plays at another level. Clemmons and Jackson were well worth the price of the ticket Friday night.
